Here is your chance to belong to a talented, accepting and lively group who share a love of quilts and an interest in learning.  At each monthly meeting we discuss the guild’s business, upcoming events and enjoy a gourmet-worthy pot-luck lunch.  Most months we are privileged to present speakers who will teach, inform and challenge us in new ways.  December brings our Holiday Party; In January and February  we focus on making quilts to donate to local charities and on sharing our skills with others in the guild.  Dues are $30 per year.  We welcome visitors for a fee of $3.  June visitors are welcome to attend our Guild Tea with advanced reservations.  Guest tickets for the Guild Tea are $10.  Contact us!

We are a diverse group of quilters who range from true beginners to professionals in the field.  For just $30 a year anyone can become member and enjoy all of the benefits, food and fun!  We meet 10 months of the year (September through June), always on the third Thursday from 10 am - 2 pm.

Our Next Regular Meeting Is:

Thursday May 16, 2019

Phyllis Twigg Hatcher - Quilt Detective, Cold Case

Do any of you Village Quilters have an old or interesting quilt that you know nothing about and would like to learn more?   Bring it to the "Quilt Detective" VQ lecture on May 16 and let Phyllis crack the case for you! Maybe you've acquired an heirloom quilt from a family member, purchased one in a shop, or experienced a late night on eBay and bought something you couldn’t resist.

Phyllis is coming to our guild and will help you determine just what you have and explain the approximate date using a myriad of mysterious clues. Some great stories and bits of textile chronicle are waiting to be discovered. (Monetary values will not be determined.)

10:00 AM - 2:00 PM (doors open at 9:00 AM)

PLEASE DON'T MISS THE INFORMATION ON THE ANNOUNCEMENTS PAGE!

Keep those food pantry donations and charity sewing projects coming in!

Project Linus quilts go to Stephanie Sanidas and Pregnancy Center quilts go to Daria Phair.

Thank you for all you help on these projects.
